INTRODUCTION.png

Please allow us the opportunity to introduce you to “The Rolling Memorial”, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This group was founded by John Stites, a disabled Vietnam era Navy veteran who has dedicated over fifty years of his life in service to country, his fellow veterans and his community. With a limited investment from his retirement and over 5 years of self sacrifice, dedication and effort, The Rolling Memorial took shape and our nonprofit status is in the works.

Our organization is based in Louisville, Kentucky which will become the national headquarters for future growth throughout the state, the region and ultimately across the country.

Our primary mission is to provide free services such as advertising, promotion and special event packages to help nonprofit veteran service organizations and charities raise public awareness about their groups and their missions and to help them raise the much needed funding to sustain their operations and administrative expenses while accomplishing their individual goals more efficiently and cost effectively.

Every dollar that they save on advertising and promotion is a dollar more that they can use to keep their organizations running.

We will sustain our organizations growth and provide our free services to the other nonprofit group’s by selling a unique package of valuable and affordable advertising and promotional programs to various sponsors. It will be a win-win situation for everyone involved.

There are more than 45,000 nonprofit organizations in the United States that are devoted to our nation’s veterans and their families. The majority of these are veterans service organizations like the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

There are also charitable organizations, such as Operation Homefront, Disabled American Veterans and the Wounded Warrior Project among others. The remainder of these groups are made up of various non-charitable nonprofits.

What’s the one thing they all have in common? They require funding in order to operate and fulfill their mission. Therefore, they have to raise money through various means such as; applying for grants and philanthropic donations, a few might be able to secure government funding, but, most of them have to reach their goals by appealing to the generosity of the general public, family members, friends, neighbors or coworkers.

Non-profits are no different than any other business. They have to be frugal with their finances and creative with the ways they get their message out to potential sources of funding.

These organizations have to operate on very limited budgets and every dollar they spend to promote their endeavors is one dollar less they can use towards achieving their goals.

Many nonprofits must deal with the fact that effective advertising and promotion is time consuming, confusing and costly.  Many organizations are faced with the frustrating dilemma of choosing between purchasing quality advertising to attract attention to their cause, or to pay the bills and accomplish the mission.

Promoting a nonprofit organization takes precious time away from running one.  Quality advertising is a must have.  The more ways an organization can get their brand in front of the masses, the more they will be remembered. Most mediums will only provide one pricey piece of the marketing puzzle.

“Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don’t know which half.”

– John Wanamaker, Merchant (1876).

With this dilemma in mind, we set out to design a unique package of advertising mediums that would complement each other and work as a total system that could effectively promote a group of non-profits as a whole and also the individuals within, free of charge.

Just as these amazing organizations have dedicated themselves to helping others, the Rolling Memorial will be dedicated to helping them.

We will use our cruiser for numerous functions to include; recruiting purposes, parades, ceremonies, funeral escort & honor guard duties, just to name a few.  This vehicle will also have another very important task, to work with other non-profit groups in our area to help them promote their fundraising activities, by setting up at a location to attract attention and by towing our mobile digital billboard to expand the reach for their promotional ads, so that we can drive more traffic to their events.  The billboard will also be a great advertising medium for our sponsors and our clients sponsors.

Our vehicle is a Dodge Charger and a former police cruiser that we have customized with our logos and specially designed graphics. The artwork was created to honor and memorialize our countries veterans, from the past to the present and inspire future generations to answer the call and carry on our nation's proud history.

Our organizations logo spans the full length of both sides of our vehicle with the other designs adorning the hood and the trunk.

The main graphic on the hood depicts a soldier bowing his head in tribute to a fellow fallen soldier.  Gathered around him are the spirits of other fallen veterans from the revolutionary war, up to our modern day heroes.

The graphics on the trunk illustrates the evolution of our military from its early infancy to its ultimate world domi-nation as a major super power.

Additionally, we have a broad variety of special event equipment in our inventory that will be made available to any nonprofit veterans organization (free of charge), so that they can make a lasting impression, stand out from the crowd and increase their earning potential without expending much needed funding.

We will have various tents, tables, chairs, linens, PA systems, generators, podiums, inflatable military costumes and various promotional items that can be used to conduct raffles, prize drawings and entertainment.  Our goal is to have everything that these organizations need to help them improve their operational capabilities and accomplish their mission.
