Pro-Motion Advertising is poised to become the premiere mobile billboard advertising & event company in the United States.
We want to claim our market share of the multi-billion dollar advertising/events industries using our state-of-the-art mobile digital billboard and advertising system.
Promotion Advertising will be organized as a Kentucky Limited Liability Company based in Louisville, Kentucky with our proposed store and shop located in Middletown at 12919 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, KY. This is a 2700 square foot building that has plenty of road visibility on a heavily traveled main route.
We are seeking $2,400,000 in investor funding to fully fund this project. This will cover all equipment, employee salaries and operating expenses. In exchange for this investment, we will offer 35% ownership in our company.
V. The Vehicle Design & Advertising System
Our mobile billboard units are specifically created to capture the attention of a captive audience. They will be eye catching and designed to stand out in the crowd. The ad unit will drive a predetermined route, while the sales unit will visit local businesses in that area to generate sales by demonstrating our vehicles unique capabilities and introduce customers to our other products and services. Each sales unit is fully equipped with an event package (shown in the gallery below) that the reps can use to set-up at various public functions, trade shows, chambers of commerce or at customer locations promoting their products or services.
VI. Branding
Uniforms
It is vitally important to establish a professional appearance and take every opportunity to get our brand out in front of the public. One way that we will accomplish this is by outfitting our staff with uniforms that are adorned with our company logos.
Each team member will wear the company uniform that consists of custom polo shirts and jackets that have been designed to our specifications in highly visible yellow and black with our logo placed on the left front side and back so that our brand can seen and remembered. Team members will wear the polo shirts with black pants and black shoes (see the graphic below). We will be able to create everything in house with our fully equipped production studio capable of embroidering hats, printing shirt logos, lanyards, ID cards, signage, vehicle graphics and much more.
The Business Cards
Although the best sales tool that the reps have is
their sales vehicles, they do have other unique
promotional items to reinforce the presentation
experience. Business cards have been a tried and
true way to leave information with a potential
customer.
However, many businesses place little thought into
the design other than going cheap and getting the
bare minimum. Many of these cards wind up being
thrown away or lost. The money that was saved on
economy cards that went in the trash was wasted
and a potential customer may have been lost.
The cards that we will use are high quality 3D lenticular cards that create the illusion of movement when rotated (as seen to the right). Our contact information will be placed on the other side. This card will be a very effective sales tool that many customers will hang on to and show their friends and business associates.

The Vehicles
Each vehicle will be a highly visible yellow with contrasting black logos and text that will be printed in easy to read block lettering. The company logo will be displayed on both sides of the vehicles and on the hood. Our website URL will be printed on both sides of the vehicle above the rear passenger windows and on the top part of each front quarter panel.
Other
In order to maintain a consistent and professional look, our company colors will be black and golden yellow with a contrasting black or golden yellow logo. The logos are designed to be clean and easy to read with bold block style lettering and a simple graphic of the Louisville, Kentucky skyline, in order to represent where our company originated and where our corporate headquarters will be located.
VII. Technology
Our sales reps will be using the Samsung Galaxy Tab as their primary sales tool. They can access all marketing collateral's, show the website, fill out and sign invoices and accept charge cards from this one device making it convenient and impressive. This will basically be a mobile version of the store POS system.
VIII. Target Audience
Although our services are available to all types and sizes of companies, our target audience will be the small business owner who needs to gain the maximum amount of ad exposure with the minimum amount of cost.
It is more likely that our sales staff will be able to talk directly with the people who can make the decisions about where they spend their advertising dollars. Larger corporations, franchises and big chain companies have more red tape involved in their decision making process.
IX. Our Competition
There are not any locally operated mobile billboard businesses in Louisville.
There are the more typical advertising mediums such as radio, television, newspapers, etc.
Our mobile billboard system is effective enough to be a stand-alone ad campaign, but affordable enough to be economically integrated into larger campaigns that include static billboards, radio, television, newspaper, direct mail and internet based advertising.
As a stand-alone system, we can provide targeted advertising to a huge captive audience, creating an effective ad campaign that will generate the highest number of impressions for the lowest cost.
X. Coverage Area
Louisville, KY has a population base of 756,832 people and is located at the geographic center of the eastern US and within 600 miles of 60% of the nation's population. It is the nations 29th largest city, that is built upon a dynamic, diversified economy, which has outperformed the U.S. in job and economic growth over the last decade.
The region draws workers from a 26 county bi-state area, providing an ample and reliable source of educated and skilled employees. This growing city has been described as the gateway to the north…and the south: an entry to the west…or in the middle of it all, putting travelers within a day’s drive of two-thirds of the U.S. population.
Louisville’s central location, combined with strong transportation infrastructure and UPS World Port, have made Louisville renowned for logistics. While companies move product, people are also moving from place to place, inside and outside of the city.
Louisvillians have easy access to our community amenities and the world beyond the merged city/county line. Whether by road (pick a direction from three intersecting interstates) or by runway (fly cheap out of SDF), Louisville’s transportation system brings out-of-town attractions and far-away family within reach.
This rich and diverse demographics will allow us to attract advertisers from other locations who would be interested in advertising their products, services, attractions, destinations etc., here in Louisville.
Likewise, we will locate satellite offices in various tourist areas beginning with Gatlinburg, TN and Myrtle Beach, SC where we can provide our unique advertising & event services. This will generate additional revenues through advertising sales and attract outside customers to take advantage of our printing services and custom souvenir product lines (see our creative services section in this plan) that we can wholesale to the various tourist businesses in these areas, or we can sell them direct to the public ourselves.
XI. Growth
After we have achieved our sales goals, demonstrated
consistent profits, established sound operating protocols
and procedures and created a solid infrastructure, we will
begin expanding our business into other local areas using
our proven business model as a template for growth. We
will add company owned and licensed locations across the
local region (see the map on the right) at first then grow
into other regions across the US and abroad.
Louisville will serve as our national headquarters and
the hub for Region #1 which will include Lexington, KY,
Frankfort, KY, Georgetown, KY, Nicholasville, KY,
Elizabethtown, KY, Bowling Green. KY, Owensboro, KY,
Henderson, KY and Evansville, IN.
Below you will find additional regional hubs that could be developed and expanded into. Each hub will mirror the Louisville, KY hub in every way from procedures, building design and layout, vehicles, equipment, products and services. Each target on the map below represents a potential hub that will service everyone in that region (the red outlines).
XII. Avenues of Income
In order to create a one-stop-shop concept, establish additional revenue streams for our company, create more income opportunities for our staff and provide our advertisers with a broad spectrum of affordable industry related services and unique products, we will utilize our state-of-the-art computer software and printing equipment to effectively fulfill any project presented to us in very timely and professional manner while focusing on delivering exceptional products, at superior prices.
We will also be able to handle our own company needs by creating printed company uniforms, vehicle graphics, promotional signage, video productions and other necessities on an as needed, when needed basis, known as just-in-time manufacturing in which items are created to meet demand, not created in surplus or in advance of need, streamlining operations and greatly reducing our costs by saving money on overhead inventory expenses.
The Louisville facility will become the hub and main fulfillment center for these products and services as we grow and expand across Kentucky, in either company owned or licensed operators, providing managers, owners and sales teams with access to a vast package of revenue generating products and services to sell from, without the need to lease larger facilities, carry additional inventory, purchase expensive equipment or hire additional staff members.

We have already talked about our mobile billboard advertising system, so now I will discuss some
of the additional advertising programs that we will have at our disposal in order to handle unique or specific situations, be able to provide even more focused campaigns, supplement our advertisers existing programs or to attract attention to a special event. In order to overwhelm our competition, attract more customers and provide a massive arsenal of advertising options that will effectively get our clients noticed in most any advertising situation, we have taken the land, sea and air approach.
I designed the Boom Box to be a fully self contained unit that can be diploid quickly and easily by the DJ alone. Working as a DJ many years ago, I found that set-up and tear-down was a very time consuming endeavor. A two hour gig would take me an additional 2 - 3 hours for set-up and tear-down (depending on the lighting requested and venue size) adding to the cost.
The unit will be hauled on a light weight, easy load/unload trailer. It will have pneumatic tires, disc brakes and a heavy duty suspension that will make it sturdy and easy to maneuver over most terrain. It was designed for easy access into tight spaces like hallways, elevators & standard doorways (at least 3ft wide). The unit will also be motorized to make moving it around even easier.
Each unit will feature a State-of-the-art DMX lighting effects package mounted to a truss system that is attached to a motorized actuator that can raise and lower the entire assembly (for either storage & travel or for use) in just minutes. Both sides of the unit flip down making a platform for the DJ on one side and a small stage on the other.
One side of the unit contains the DJ booth with all the controls and equipment, while the other side houses an 80 inch flat screen monitor that will be used for playing mesmerizing visual effects, videos and live TV. This unit can also be utilized as a mobile billboard. Completing the package is the sound system capable of pumping out a booming 1500 watts of power through multiple speakers attached to the truss and inside a lower compartment.
We will also include a Karaoke unit and microphone that can be used on the stage side of the Boom Box for more fun or public speaking. The addition of a generator allows it to be used at any location.
It also comes equipped with a small vending kiosk stocked with a variety of party favors to sell while on site (glow products, cool shades & hats, noise makers and more).
The BOOMBOX will be built by Nitro Manufacturing located in Mooresville, NC. Their core products are custom pit carts for NASCAR, but they can manufacture numerous cart variations that will comply with our design requirements (click on the Nitro logo to visit their website).
There is no other system like this in the world. The Boom Box is a perfect addition to the mobile billboard business package.
